What are the major issues currently facing cities, not only in south Snohomish County but across the state? Are there common causes and what, if any, are some possible solutions?
Join the Edmonds Civic Roundtable to hear from Candice Bock, director of government relations, advocacy and education with the Association of Washington Cities (AWC). She will address the state of Washington cities, including infrastructure, housing, budget shortfalls, public safety and more.
Candice is a veteran of 15 years with , with an additional 15-year background in city government, Ms. Bock will also present the agency’s survey findings showing structural imbalances in local tax structures and how cities are struggling with state mandates that come unfunded.
